Post Falls
Nobody Knows Idaho Like TROYLet us help you find home.
Nicknamed “The River City,” Post Falls is considered the gateway to Northern Idaho, with its easy access off of I-90. Located 35 minutes east of downtown Spokane and only ten miles west of Coeur d’Alene. Named after German immigrant Frederick Post, who built his lumber mill on the Spokane River in 1871, Post Falls is rich in both beauty and history. The Rathdrum prairie stretches from the heart of town to the mountains and majestic Ponderosa Pine forests that surround it.
There is a beach and boat launch at Q’emlin Riverside Park and nearby are scenic hiking trails, rock climbing, picnic sites, and white-water kayaking. The Post Falls Dam at Falls Park and the Native American petroglyphs at Treaty Park are both popular tourist destinations. With its central location and growing economy (hunting and fishing knife manufacturer Buck Knives and outdoor store Cabela’s both have campuses there) Post Falls is a popular spot. Choose your home from condos and modest homes to sprawling estates or waterfront vacation cabins.
